Caption Contest Hits the Homeland
As promised, the caption contests would still continue even after returning home from China. And once again, a beautiful Changzhou comb is up for grabs. The contest will stay open for two weeks, but the reward will only be available to US residents this time. Sorry, guys; that international shipping is a pain.

Well, since only two people participated, I think this is going to be the last one. Congratulations to Hopfrog, though. Your second caption, “What wire? Hehe, oh that wild and wacky duo! Mr. Clark and Haibo you’ve done it again!” made me laugh the most. References to the website are always a plus!
Caption Contest is Back and Mad as Hell
Several months ago, I attempted a caption contest that didn’t end well, because family members’ entries confounded the selection process. This time, immediate family is exempt from winning. Sorry, Dad. To make up for the discrepancy, I’ll give this contest’s winner two local handicrafts instead of one. Don’t worry, there will be more opportunities in the future, but this is probably the only one I’ll make available for worldwide shipping. The rest will take place once I’m back in the US. Contest closes November 1st. Start commenting!

The results are in. I’m going to have to give this one to Joe for his caption for the third picture: Step aside, friend. This table has been sanctified for the most amazing half-peeled cucumber vs. Red Ranger fight your rat-tails have ever dreamed of. You had me at rat tails.
The Great Chinese Caption Contest

There’s something about sticking a cartoon speech bubble next to a Chinese person that instantly spells hilarity. In a cheap effort to encourage lurking readers to finally post a comment, I thought it would be fun to do a caption contest with actual prizes. Or just one prize. I will send a Changzhou comb to the person who writes the funniest caption for any of these pictures. Really! The contest will stay open for two weeks, and you can submit as many entries as you want. Sorry, no bonus points for entries written in Chinese.
