The E-Book Release of Yes China

I know you’ve all been twiddling your thumbs, waiting to hear more about the release of Yes China. Well, I’ll let you in on a secret. The e-book version is already available on Amazon. It hasn’t sold many copies yet, but I’m also waiting to really push it until the paperback is ready.
That won’t be for at least another week, though, because the first proof I ordered (pictured above) had serious problems. The text on the back cover was cut too close to the edge, and the margins in the interior were uneven. It’s strange how the printing process went so smoothly with The Second Page, but now that I’m trying to publish a story I actually have faith in, I’m running into setbacks. If you’re interested in the book and prefer having a paperback copy, hold out just a little longer, because I’ll be doing some discounts for the first week or two once it’s done.
Update: it’s done.

I am currently reading the e-book version and think it’s the funniest book I’ve ever read!

Thanks for the support, Judy! I’m glad you’re liking it so far. Feel free to share your final thoughts once you’ve finished the book.

I’ve read this book and let me give a hearty recommendation for anyone who has arrived at this post…. get the book. Clark has a unique sense of humor and if you get pleasure from laughing, this book will make you feel good. Heck, just take a gander at the previous post and comments, I was relaying a funny anecdote I had heard but had forgotten where it came from… it was from this book.
I suspect a lot of people who land here might be those who are interested in trying their hand at teaching in China, for you, this book and Clark’s Teaching Guide are must buys. Clark’s work will give you a useful and unbiased look at what you will be getting into. He doesn’t pull punches and your going to laugh a lot along the way.
This is my first look at the front cover, love it. I should be on a flight over to China in the near future and plan on having a paperback copy to enjoy again on the way over.

Man, I need to start paying you! Thanks for the kind words, Hopfrog. Not a lot has changed since you read it, but I did add a few new jokes, trimmed down some of the more long-winded teaching chapters, and gave Chapter 39 an overhaul.
